At Matrix Switch Corporation we understand the importance of remote control panels. They need to be easy to use, of the highest reliability and cost effective.
Matrix Switch Corporation remote control panels operate over a standard 10BaseT Ethernet LAN. Most other switcher manufacturers either offer no remote control panels and rely solely on expensive third party control's connected to the RS232 port, one remote panel that ties up the RS232 port or some form of proprietary multi-panel interconnect scheme. Typically these proprietary systems have no isolation between control panels. If one panel fails possibly all of the panels on the network can be locked out until the failed panel is found and removed or fixed.
The most popular and easy to use type of control panel is the button-per-source single bus or XY type of control panel. Operation of an XY panel is very easy. Select an output button and the currently selected input for that output is displayed as the lit input button. Pressing any other input button will now select a new input for the enabled output. All Matrix Switch Corporation XY remote panels also support AFV (Audio Follow Video) and Audio Breakaway selection. When Audio Breakaway is selected the active video input is indicated by a constantly lit input button and the selected audio input is indicated by a flashing lamp in the active audio input's button.
Matrix Switch Corporation offers these in variety of configurations listed below as well as in your choice of two different types of pushbutton switches:
'E Type' Employ individually rear lit elastomeric switches with excellent tactile feel and high reliability gold contacts. These are our most popular and most cost effective type of button-per-source remote control panel.
'V Type' Panels use the same industry standard Veetronix re-legend-able switches found on the top of the line production switchers.
The NEW MSC-GCP2U32 'SmartPanel' is an ideal compliment to our HD/SDI 72x72 switchers as well as our larger RGBHV VGA systems.
